Talk about a cool dance/techno track to bob your head (in my case, in a slightly white fashion) to. The album art - F& amazing… and the fusion of synths, sax - I think no record that would be about, named, or involved with Detroit in a smooth way is complete without sax.
Was in Subway the other week with my good friend, and they played a song from my youth - and I couldn’t figure out what it was, but of course, E always gets stuff like that right. I swear, if he were to appear on “The Singing Bee” he’d win a ton of money.
And so now I own “Possum Kingdom” by the Toadies. Great track. GREAT rock - totally brings back all kinds of memories.
Was taking a five minute break - and found Daft Punk after looking at the “The List - Samples and Sources.”
I have always been a fan of Dimitri in Paris and others - and really found that Daft Punk was sort of where the Paris House movement started.
Anyway, that’s my pick - back to work.
